The team at Devonport Carpets are the best. The fitters are incredibly polite, respectful and brilliant at their jobs. The company owner is the loveliest guy, and always doing the best by his customers. Carpets are amazing quality and affordable. I wouldnt use anywhere else again, best carpet place in Plymouth.

Won't be using this company ever again. Decided to go with this company as had previous bad experience with another company and thought these were really good but we was wrong. We were looking around in the shop for a few minutes before we got some service and the women in the shop was very confused with our measurements so decided to have someone to come out to measure to save hassle. That was absolutely fine and communicated very well and told us what needed to be taken out of the kitchen. We decided to wait for a bit so we could save money which was fine. Ordered the vinyl on the phone a couple of weeks ago and the person on the phone was really good, and explained what will happen. The fitters came out the other day and laid concrete on the floor to level it out in the kitchen. They said they would be back in 4 hours to lay the vinyl but I knew it wasn't going to be dry as we have colder weather now. They came back and said they was going to come back the next day which I was understandable about. Came back the next day and laid the vinyl however there were places where it was bubbled and vinyl not stuck down. Called the shop and the lady said the fitters had gone home for the day which was fine. She said they will come back Monday and took my number. On Monday called the shop and spoke to Jim. He explained that it wasn't in the diary and the fitters don't work Monday or Tuesday and I could book it in for Wednesday. I mentioned that I wasn't happy as it was my week off and I had plans. He told me that it was human error and said it will have to be Wednesday so decided to go with that day. Got a call from the fitter Monday 4pm saying they were outside my house so I explained that I was out shopping and wouldn't be home. Fitters told to me he will come around Tuesday which he did and rectified the mistakes. Personally the fitters need to communicate with the shop as its not good saying the shop can lie saying they are not working. Not happy!

Had my whole house carpeted and industrial grade lyno flooring top to bottom. Quality carpets second to none and Great value, amazing service cannot praise them enough. We were really impressed. Also just had them supply and fit astro turf for my garden, Pictures speak for themself.

Supplied and fitted new vinyl flooring. Great value for money, they came out, measured up and gave me price there and then, very honest about what needed doing and the best way to lay the vinyl. Also really helpful in store to choose the vinyl and offered me different options. Fitters on site were prompt, kept me updated on timings, got on with the job and provided a great finish. I've also used them a few years ago for carpet and again it was a similar experience, I would highly recommend them.

Devonport Carpets are fantastic carpet suppliers and fitters and they're very reasonable on price. I will certainly use them again.

Have used this store and its services for over 20 years and is the only one we ve trusted with our flooring. Friendly, hardworking reliable and great value for money.. I would recommend this company as a go to for any of your flooring..keep up up the excellent service and choices.xx

Got a price but apparently my measurements were wrong and was charged an extra £90 for the carpet and another £70 for the carpet fitters. But when the fitters left there was so much waste it seemed like I paid extra for the waste carpet. I fitted laminate downstairs and all my measurements were correct for the amount of underlay and laminate for the job.

Phoned up to get someone out to measure and give us a quote......didn't even get that far! Woman on the phone was rude and definitely in need of some customer service training. Won't be using.

Devonport Carpets are friendly, helpful and stock a wide range of products to suit all tastes and pockets. They are prompt to measure and fit and are very good with recent covid measures when visiting my home.
