This place is falling short on a few simple things. I bring my two kids here for swimming lessons, not run by Devon hills, there are no useable lockers in the men's changing rooms. Meaning that people are leaving the clothes in the family changing cubicles, The keys are all missing. Don't feel comfortable leaving my bag with a phone and car keys in. The heaters are never on in the changing rooms. So my boy is freezing when he finishes his lesson. I mentioned this to the staff and they say getting it sorted. Been a month now. To buy lockers and turn the heating on. And at £10 time to swim would expect simple facilities. This post has been edited from a 4star review for these reasons.

My "local" gym as I can walk there (warm up and cool down times). You have to go up stairs to Reception then down stairs to the gym proper. 

There is a room for free weights and another large room full of machines. A water cooler is at hand and antiseptic spray & paper towels.

The swimming pool is not an Olympic size but can cater for quite a number of people. Instructor led exercise programs can be booked and are well worth it.

There is also a wooden floored gym room used for spinning, boxing training, etc.

Good staff on hand to help with questions. Personalized training programs can be had at a cost.

I have been a member for 3 years. The rates are great value and the fitness instructors are excellent. Tiff in particular is a great asset to the team and provides varied and challenging classes that are accessible for all levels of fitness. The pool is great, we started using the club because of the separate small shallow pool which is warm and excellent for young children. Much much warmer than the local council pool!

Been going for two years now and its generally good but things happen slowly. It is Devon butcome on! Over a year for a new sauna and keep asking for new lockers in gents changing..about two work properly..they promise but nothing happens.

Stayed in the lodges over summer holidays. Great pool for kids and adults. Small pool for small children . Sauna and steam room available too. Went to a fitness class and really enjoyed it. My partner went to gym and thought it was well equipped. Also beauty therapist and hairdresser on site. Staff really friendly made you feel like a regular guest with friendly chit chat and good knowledge of centre.
