I have used Devon cars for several years now. To begin with they were very good, punctual, reliable and good drivers. Since the covid epidemic the service has gone downhill very much. The drivers are still polite and helpful,but the controll room need better, well informed and polite controllers,as they're often curt and rude, and don't always confirm the booking. Reliability too is not as goid as it was, es eg on Tuesday I had a 3pm appointment in Enfield. I asked for a car for 2pm. It never arrived till 2.30pm and I arrived at my appointment half an hour late, which is totally unacceptable. I would be reluctant to recommend this firm anymore these days. If you're not on a tight time schedule, they're alright but if your appointment is important, don't use Devon cars as they're not totally 100% reliable.

I left my AirPods in a cab to the airport last week and fair play, they found them, took them back to the office and looked after them until I was back in London. Well done Devon Cars - 5 stars. Thank you.
Showed up 11 mins late controller assured me they’d be no later than 5 mins, no apology whatsoever and then helped himself to £5 tip from change. I was 11 mins late for my interview. Will never use them again!
This lot are an absolute joke, have no idea what they are doing stay away from this cab service, left an 80 year old man standing on the corner for over an hour, book from anyone but these clowns!!!!
I've started using Devon Cars over two years ago. Initially everything was great. Then the mobile app started giving me a different fixed price than the driver was receiving. I complained, first time, second time, third... Each time I received an apology and information that the app was wrong great! That helps me, the loyal customer, right?. Finally I got assurance that the app will get corrected and next trip I'll book I'll get a discount equal to all those additional payments. Guess what?! Half a year later nothing has changed, actually it got worse. This time I was charged nearly £10 more than was on my booking. Go somewhere else where they value repeat customers
