Delightful service from the owner and the waitress. Homemade bread is a treat and the atmosphere cozy.
My go to happy place. Hurry up and go away COVID cos I miss the best coffee in town, and the quirky character of the place where a lone female can feel comfortable and the food is great too.

Genial host Desmond opens the relaxed and stylish Dr Johnson's coffee shop from 8 til 3 Tuesday through to Saturday,. Apart from a great coffee he rustles up toast or crumpets for breakfast , homemade pie and mash for lunch and freshly baked scones too. On the 28th of each month you can book to sample one of his much loved pizzas,.
Great place to eat and drink with a lovely owner
Tiny cafe run by the enegmatic Desmond who is very eccentric. Come here if you want a relaxing coffee and a home made pie with a choice of fillings. Service is always bright with a faulty towers sense of humor.
The milkshakes are amazing the food is great Desmond is eccentric but lovely
