The food is quite nice and the portion sizes are just right. If you're thinking about paying by card you have to order £10 minimum of food (I believe it's the same for drinks). The drinks are reasonably priced and staff are pretty much relaxed. The downside(s) - The actual pub itself needs a major revamp, the men's bathroom is a disgrace, the toilet light is just flickering and the bathroom looks as if it's never been cleaned. The eating area is pretty dark as if there is no light bulbs around but usually the projector is on so the lights coming off that. It's clearly obvious that certain people coming in are very "shady" and as for the people that can't control their liquor that's more of a personal thing than the pubs fault, however the trend seems to be a lot of people clearly with a drinking problem tend to stick around for a while and whilst myself and group of co -workers were there, they began interrupting us, asking to buy them a drink. Previous times coming there similar things have happened. The beer garden could do with a tidy up and new furniture as the sofa etc is ripped and dusty. The door leading out to the garden is dirty with handprints. This pub has a lot of potential to be great but the points above let it down in my honest opinion. Maybe new management or revamping and reopening of the places could fix these problems.

Ordered my food around 12:50 and still hadn't arrived at 2.10 despite reminding them 20 mins before. Got a refund but awful service. Bar staff were excellent.

The best food ever. no exaggeration. Lamb chops out of this world and lovely curries 👍

Wrong order arrived. When I called he said I hadn't ordered what I said, I told him I had and that i had the just eat order in front of me. Eventually sent food again and still had an item missing. Not only bad service but the food was quite rubbish. Extremely oily curry and the biryani was overcooked sticky rice.
