From the first phone call to Liam, the compassion and empathy that was shown for my beloved man and our family was unbelievable. They helped retrieve my mam and dealt with her passing with dignity and respect. Nothing was a problem for them. I really can't speak highly enough of them all and can't thank them enough for all they did for my mam and us x
I work as a deputy manager in a home for adults with learning disabilities and was looking to arrange a funeral plan for one of our clients, derwentside funerals was recommended to me and I can only praise them for all their help especially the young gentleman who arranged it all for us, Liam Tait he was professional from the start and throughout and made everything so easy to discuss and arrange especially as it something not everyone likes to talk about, due to this we have contacted him again to arrange another funeral plan. I would highly recommend him and the company to anyone.
Absolutely fantastic,professional service from the outset. Made a very sad time more bearable. My Dad had an amazing send off. Liam,is such a lovely,caring young man,professional and kept us up to date at every stage of the arrangements.He is an absolute credit to the business. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Thankyou
Liam and the team were very professional and respectful of our wishes for the funeral service of our Mum.Liam was empathatic but also efficient through a very sad time. We only have praise for how Liam conducted Mum's funeral . Thank you to everybody .
Excellent service with utmost respect Cannot recommend this company highly enough
Front start to finish this company have been uncaring and unprofessional. My mother died suddenly and the coroner was involved this firm went ahead and booked the funeral etc without say so from the coroner and didn't inform the family we basically had 24 hrs to make arrangements etc. On the day of the funeral they didn't send enough mourning coaches and family had to go in ordinary estate cars, they failed to stop at the house where she used to live as promised, at the crematorium they asked a family member if they knew where her plot was in our local cemetery so they knew where to put her flowers, I could list more mistakes. At a time of loss this firm should be there to ease your suffering these people made the whole thing unbearable and undignified.
Just wanted to thank Derwentside Funerals for showing the utmost care and compassion when handling the funeral of a family member. By going above and beyond, helping my family through probably the toughest time of our lives. You were there and the service you provided was both fitting and second to none. Thanks again
My son passed away and it is the worst experience ever and having to arrange a funeral my sister rang for me john came to my house and did everything for me with him Lindsey and all the other staff and sherry at the chapel of rest my sons funeral was perfect in every way thank you to all of you Louise brown brett Hodgson mam
Amazing staff myself and my sister lost my mam 8 months ago then we lost my sister son john Liam lindsey and lovely sherry went that extra mile to make both funerals extra special they were always on end of phone and will do anything they can to help you to make it that extra special once again thank you all
