First time in the Derby Arms but it won’t be my last.nWe were late for our table and they kept the kitchen open for us. The meal was delicious and the service excellent.
Visited with mum after reading an article on the refurb. Walked in to the sight of a beautiful big Christmas tree and a very warm welcome from the smiley waitress Lynne. Greeted at bar by another equally friendly and effortlessly professional waiter Doug. Service was excellent, as was the food. Our cups of tea came piping hot which was greatly appreciated nothing worse than lukewarm tea. Food was also piping hot, incredibly fresh and very tasty. The decor is lovely and everything looks spotlessly clean, including the toilets. The ambience is the perfect blend of calm, friendly and family oriented dog friendly too! Altogether a great place for a quick drink, a bite to eat, or a long relaxing dinner. Our only slight issue would be that we were a tad on the cold side but I stress that was of no major significance and I didn’t remember to put my cardi on note to self! A great Greene King establishment, underpinned by great staff!
Was good for the price. Food was frozen though! However priced right, staff were amazing
Really enjoyed my lunch here! The place looks fantastic since the refurb—modern and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Can't wait to come back!
