I have been searching all over for a black hair salon to take care of my natural hair. After a few google searches, I stumbled on this one and decided to give it a try because it had such stellar reviews. I was NOT disappointed. Upon entry, I was greeted warmly by the owner and other staff and was also offered a beverage. The place was very clean and organised which was a huge plus for me. The owner Marieme did a hair strand test in order to give a proper diagnosis and treatment plan for my hair which let me know right off the bat that she knows her stuff. She was very informative and enlightened me a bit more about my hair and what would work for it. I had my hair washed, treated and trimmed and it was a great experience from start to finish. My scalp felt amazing and hair was very soft afterwards. The staff were extremely professional and friendly. It wasn't like other salons that I have visited where there is so much gossip that leaves you feeling very awkward. All in all, I was thoroughly impressed and will be returning soon.

b have been going to Marieme for years!! Always professional and friendly staff. It take me almost 2 hours to get to the salon but it worth it. I can't imagine anyone else doing my hair. I always leave satisfied.

I booked a hair cut at Marieme D Hair after a recommendation from a friend and honestly I loved my experience. I had Clodagh, who was so friendly, knowledgeable and so chatty - she was so attentive and made me feel welcome. What was also lovely was the friendly feel in the salon - every hairdresser was talking to clients which is an absolute rarity in the Afro hair salon market and is something that all Afro hair salons really should aspire to, was offered refreshments and actually got my hair done within a couple of hours and wasn’t left waiting. It felt very professional. Have rebooked for a keratin treatment next also with Clodagh and I know I’ll enjoy it again. Thank you for my lovely hair cut and straighten!Services:&nbsp;Hairstyling

My first time at the salon and I'm more than impressed I had such amazing service!!  With such warm welcoming staff. I'm absolutely over the moon with my new hair and new cut! 100% recommend coming here! Also so lovely to finally have a afro hair specialist in South Woodford! I have always struggled to find a great afro salon for my girls 9&4 years old. I saw Marieme D online and after reading the reviews I decided to give it go and I didn't regret it! Marieme fit my girls into her schedule as a last minute request. They both had a trim, wash and styling. She and her team were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They gave good tips and provided their rationale which was very helpful to me. My girls were really relaxed and enjoyed the experience and we were all pleased with the results!
