I really like this place.. especially for the homemade cakes and tea. This is situated within the pod and took over when Starbucks left. It's a lovely place to grab a wonderful piece of homemade cake at very reasonable prices. The staff are always friendly and helpful!! They even sell a full range of pipers crisps, what's not to like :- If your out that way tho at Halfords or B&Q and fancy a break, take time to sit relax and have a bite. Lovely on a Sunday morning!!
Wasn't very impressed. Staff were lovely and polite, however after specifically asking for a vegan sandwich and reminding them not to butter it, they buttered one slice of bread and not the other so I had to send it back dairy intolerant so it would have made me ill. My younger son then found a long dark hair in his sandwich, so food hygiene could definitely be improved.
Had a lunch today 08AU16 overlooking the magnificent Humber river on the balcony at Deli One; it was my first visit there and will not be my last as I can’t wait to repeat the great experience, tasty sandwich with excellent view from the outdoor balcony, prompt service – with a smile - and very good value for money. Ordered a double expresso with my sandwich and was pleased to say it was the largest ‘Double’ I’ve ever had in UK, Europe or USA.
Nice place to grab a quick coffee, breakfast, or a light lunch. Friendly, efficient service. Lots of natural light and a great view of the river.
