myself and a friend visited here as it was the closest. I live in the Midlands so know a good curry.nI had the mixed tandoori grill and found it average. We were the only 2 people in there.
We have used the Deli Darbar for a very long time possibly as long as it has been opened. I ordered a takeaway tonight, after enjoying the starters went to the mains to realise we had 2 of the same. I telephoned and the issue was dealt with immediately all fresh and very tasty.nWould certainly recommend.nThank you very much for your quick response even though it's Friday night
Excellent food. Our family is vegan and they helpfully and easily accommodated us. You can even get plain naan which is vegan and delicious! We got aloo gobi, chana masala, and mixed vegetables and all were great.
Poor is the only way to describe this place. first off we didn't even know if it was open from the outside, once inside it was dark, dingy and well in need of decoration. The one woman who working to the restaurant was sat down and spent more time talking on her phone than bothering with us. When she did come over to us she was miserable and a terrible waitress. There were two others guest when we got there but after five minutes they left leaving us on our own. No atmosphere and a very uninviting experience. To top it off I ask for a pint of Cobra which they have on tap and got a more expensive bottle in stead and told that the pump was out. Next the food came out and both of our Naans or Nan as they call it on the menu came out on top of each other on one plate that wasn't big enough to hold one properly!. The only plus I can give this place hence the two Stars was that the dishes were OK not amazing but OK and the dinning area looked to be clean to the eye. Check my reviews and you'll see that I eat in many curry houses all over the UK and this has to be rated as one of the worse is been in.
Just went to eat there with my family for the first time. The family that run the restaurant were lovely people and the food was delicious. Really lovely food. Thanks alot. From the Maltese family.
