Good selection of home cooked meals. All of our meals were hot and tasty and the portions were good. The staff were friendly and you get a great view of the rapids! Fuss free, quick service and the meals are exactly as expected.
We have stopped there twice during our stay in the area. Both times the food was delicious, well presented and the portions were quite large. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Prices were very reasonable.
Wow what a gem of a find, I was lucky enough to have the best seat in the house right by the window. Minted lamb baguette & chips was fantastic and full of flavour. Would recommend this place to anyone!!!
Found this little place near the heritage train station.nFirst off it is cash only, but there is a free cash machine inside.nA great choice of food: fried, sandwiches, burgers, pasta etc and a few cakes and meringues afterwards.nBoth alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available.nGood customer service from the staff: shown to a table when we went in, informed about the cash-only. The food came quickly enough as well.nI would go here again.
Had a hot chocolate and some fish and chips. The food was good, though I found the batter was a bit soggy on the underside. Overall happy to give this a 5 star because you can't really beat the location, or the view. And the hot chocolate was delicious - not too sweet, incredibly creamy. Plus staff were very friendly and service was prompt.
