Well laid out sporting retail store with plenty of space between the racks to take down and try the equipment. Staff are helpful and engaged. If you need to try before you buy this is the place to go. Buying a tennis racket for my son I was pleased with the amount of advice available on location. Even a height chart available so we knew we were buying the right size. Disabled access is good. Ground floor. Wide access points. Well lit and laid out.
Have had my bike serviced there a couple of times now, and I have found all the staff to be really helpful. Particularly a guy called Andrew, who gave me good advice on what needed fixed, and was able to get me back on the road quickly again!
I love shopping at Decathlon and this store is very well done. You can get the basics for nearly any kind of sport here. This store is well organized and merchandised but the best thing about it is the value you get for anything you purchase.
I love this shop but the customer service is the worst. I just went to return a carrier pannier today, it cost £19.99, and swapped the one in £9.99. It’s simple I need £10 back. But the stuff keep asking me to pay extra £10, I said it’s wrong, I need to receive £10 back. In the end she fingered out, returned £10 to me. But she didn’t apologise and gave me a look.
We ordered a tent from another store, unfortunately the order was cancelled due to selling befor it was picked for our collection. We contacted the Edinburgh store who confirmed they had plenty in stock and could transfer to our local store for collectionthis was later confirmed by customer services. Despite overhearing the manger say to the assistant she could, she was not prepared to as it was a popular item. she chose not to help. We are only a customer trying to make a purchase this does not seem like good customer service to me.
I bought a running shoe on 24/7/22 and returned the item on 4/8/22 as original condition. The staff acknowledged the return and game me a refund receipt for 59.99. since the amount was not credited immediately, the same staff told me that the refund might take 7-10 working days. I didn't receive the refund yet and I went to the store to check on this and they couldn't help instead gave me a customer loyalty email ID to write. But this turns out to be a wrong email and my email returned. The staff was not helping with the correct solution and I am still waiting for the refund. I have the refund , however the staff lack of direction and knowledge, still a concern.
Great store, however camping is not one of their strong points, but for everything else definitely recommended.
Bought OXELO skate shoes online from decathlon Edinburgh and had them once only. They have got stain around the head of one shoe which appeared after first day . No splash of water or anything similar . Defiantly not worth to spend 34£ on them .
Love it even with broken serial label they accepted the return, very good quality specially for sport lovers
Got a paddle board . Getting my kayak fixed . Cameron is brilliant patience of a Saint . protein cookie was great wee finisher
