Just phoned to try and book and appointment as I am in pain, and instead received a lecture from the receptionist about how long it’s been since I saw the dentist, and when I went on to explain that I have a major fear of the dentist, I was told that was not an excuse and that as I haven’t been there for a while I am no longer a patient. Disgusting way to treat someone who has a major fear of the dentist and was seeking help.
Disgusting attitude by reception manager. Rang for an appointment only to be given a lecture and spoken to like a child. Strongly suggest some training in customer service and understanding. Funny how everyone who complains about reception staff attitude gets accused of being rude and abusive.
Deansbrook care centre is wonderful practice, full of lovely staff. I having been going to this practice for a very long time and never had any issues with the dentist ir the treatment carried out. They’re all lovely and helpful, very considerate and empathetic.
I've been coming here for a while, reception staff are really friendly and welcoming. Everytime I see Janani the dental hygienist I always leave with a million dollar smile, she really is a true professional and carries out her role diligently and with precision!
I have filling come off and need to reinserted. I am you customer and need to get an appointment to solve the problem. Somehow the person on reception has stopped dealing with my calls and this is after umpteen calls. They don't answer my calls. Please can this help. I have sent 2 text messages also. I and my family have been with this practice for over 20 years. Totally professional and 100% caring and empathetic. From Reception to Dentist I have nothing but high praise. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly especially the reception manager PAM who always not only smiles but also goes the extra mile to help. Dr Vijay Patel combines the deep technical knowledge with great care for his patients, together with a unique gift for patience in dealing with patients’ concerns and preferences, and an artist’s hand in making sure any work he does is second to none. I am delighted to say that Dr. Patel is the best dentist I ever had, and it is a pleasure to be one regular customer of this excellent practice and its team.
Always have a great, smooth experience here. The staff and dentists are friendly, respectful, caring and courteous of your time. The Surgery is run very smoothly and efficiently. I agree with the previous reviewer, Pam is a very great and helpful lady that always shines. God bless.
If I could I would not give them a star at all. Dentist almost killed me a few years ago. Even the assistant in the room almost past out. Shame I never took them to court. After an extraction which was horrific, I thought my brains were being pulled out and going back the next day or so only to be told the dentist had gone away to Iran. Another dentist saw me and gave me antibiotics but he wasn't very pleasant either. The whole experience was horrific for me. I will never forget it and tell anyone I know to stay clear of this so called set up.
It doesn't surprise me to read the number of other reviews here complaining about the reception/admin staff at this practice, as this is regrettably my experience too. Twice I have phoned in the last 2 weeks trying to book an appointment with a particular hygienist. Both times I spoke to a different receptionist who were unable to make the booking at the time and who promised me that they would call me back to arrange it. Neither bothered to call me back in spite of assuring me that they would. Sadly this is also not the first time I have had issues with the dismissive admin staff here. It shouldn't be for me to keep chasing them up to try to make appointments. I have been a member of this practice for many years, and although the dental staff are good, the appalling customer experience has now led me to look elsewhere. As a healthcare professional myself, I recognise the importance of all round client care, so to anyone thinking of joining this practice - don't.
Firstly I gotta Sam Pam is just an absolute legend of the surgery! She is always trying her best to give the best Customer care when dealing with me and all of my family! Always so happy and friendly! She is always trying her best to get me appointments around my busy work schedule! Secondly I have had problems with my teeth for years and I was giving a blessing off seeing my new dentist Dr Kia and SHE IS A BLESSING!!! The best dentist I have had in 27 years! She is just so bubbly and comforting!!! I would recommend everyone to see Dr Kia and her nurses! The absolute best surgery!
