Used to be my favourite carpark but then realised it's very narrow when passing other cars or trying to get out. Do not even attempt on a night when there are events on as the carpark has the facilities to tell you it's full but they don't use them and trying to turn round at the top is ridiculously hard even in a small ISH car. Midweek would be ok I guess but it's now my last resort

Good location near Quayside. Entrance is through a large archway in Dean Street. Pay with the PayByPhone app. Location code is 8100. Parking free after 7pm until 8am. Take this into account when paying for an overnight stay.

My favourite car park in Newcastle, that sounds a bit sad really but it is handy for all of the places I like to visit on a night out, free parking after 1900 hrs too whats not to like.

Used to be a handy place to park but I spent 3/4 hr stuck in there last night at around 6.15pm because the traffic light entry system was on green and there were no available spaces other than the floors allocated to the council's pass system. Everyone was heading to the top floor, turning around up there was a total nightmare in the cramped space and the queue of traffic waiting to make the turn stretched over several floors. The green lights were letting more cars in all the time with nowhere for them to go and the queue to nowhere was getting longer all the time. Cars were beeping, I was fully expecting violent scuffles to break out. If anyone had wanted to vacate their space they couldn't because the queue sealed them in. If you are meeting someone or going to the theatre I would totally avoid the place now because once you're in you can't get out and the chances are you will be really late.

One of the worst car parks in the country!! Be very wary of your car dimensions as you may want to skip this one altogether!nHere on a Saturday afternoon until the evening and not many places left..
