Just ok ... Simply FRESH the snack shop is way too expensive. Food village is a lot cheaper. Which is really no good for students.
It a really a nice place for refreshing mind.They support the student by their friendly behaviour.
De Montfort Student union is generally a good place for students. As well as hosting a range of activities, it also includes a shop for uni supplies SUpplies, a small convenience shop Simply Fresh, Subway and a restaurant. There is a Starbucks there too but I've never seen it open and can't find it's opening hours anywhere, as well as it not being listed on the uni website or Google maps. I believe it may now be permanently closed? There is also "Zen Zone." Which holds relaxation activities, I haven't been as of writing so I can't comment. "The Union" restaurant is not listed on Google Maps currently, but I wouldn't recommend it for students. Unfortunately the food takes a very long time to arrive, even with no other customers. On both occasions I went there I had to get up and ask the staff where the food was. One time they had it right there with them the whole time, they just didn't inform us. Due to a general lack of seating on campus, this space is often misused by students who are not ordering food there and use the space to work. This is a similar issue with the food village, despite there being seating to study on the second floor, library etc. So it can be very difficult to find seating once ordered. So overall, I would not recommend the restaurant "The Union" for these reasons.
A big building with a good atmosphere. Lots of seating available and designed to be wheelchair accessible. There's a great range of food but not as much "to do" as other University SUs.

A great place to relax between lectures. There's a fair amount of seating with a coffee shop, a cafe, Subway, a small grocery shop and a stationary shop. Looking forward to future additions here.
The place that every student is looking for... a place to sit and have some snacks and some gossips. There are also some indoor activities in DSU such as table tennis,Fifa etc on the first floor.
The new Campus Centre renovation has completely transformed the SU and has created an open and accessible space for Students to relax, collaborate, grab food or drink and get support.
I love students union because this building is best for international students who need any help and suggestions about study and other isssues
