Greta company to call upon. Booked well in advance and the driver was more than accomodating. Very reasonable prices and also good cheeky chat which is always good. Just pop them an email or call to cook for the Wincanton and Bruton wider area. Also do airport trips and other trips if discussed
The service provided by this firm was quite outstanding. We had broken down in Wincanton and just had to get to Exeter crematorium. Nothing was too much trouble for Destination travel who got us to Exeter with out any trouble and then got us back to wincanton. First class service by friendly experienced driver.
Totally unreliable. Arranged for a pick up at Castle Cary station, booked it the day before travelling. No one there when we arrived, phoned after a few minutes to be told was on his way and ‘would be about 15 minutes’ no apology whatsoever. Freezing cold and waiting with my mother who is over 70 - was a short fare for them so I realise they did not want it, but it’s a good half hour walk with luggage, they could have just said no from the beginning, or at least had the courtesy of letting us know they were late. Thankfully a driver from Anzford Cars was there and took us but this is not always going to be the case. A note for Castle Cary local council, most taxi services seem very unreliable, I had many companies decline to even book as was a ‘short journey’, but not everyone can walk the distance with luggage - it’s a good 25-30 mins walk and can be very dark and cold in winter! Perhaps consider a minimum set fee or shuttle service.
