I like old fashioned shops. The price of their ironmongery (STOP USING THE AMERICANISM 'HARDWARE') is very competitive. Their nails are about 25% of the price at ('allways cheaper'!!!!) Homebase down the road. Staff always obliging.

Lovely department store. It takes me back in time every time I go. They sell beautiful bedding, crockery, garden furniture etc. Well worth a visit. Also a lovely cafe attached downstairs.

Lovely to browse around its like A laddins cave so much much to see. Can be a bit pricey having said that the goods are top class very good makes.

I'm not the greatest fan of department stores, however I felt that Dawsons retained a unique charm. It has a great range of good quality products - and was competitively priced.
