Lovely place, and great cafe
The building was easy to find and has an alley straight from the carpark. I was visiting to attend a Blood Donation Session so my reason to be there was brief and atypical. The main hall was a large, flexible space and, in these current conditions, was ideal for the purpose. Reception and temperature check in the hallway, waiting and pre-donation tests, followed by the donation and a biscuit.
A lovely friendly place. Food is very reasonably priced in the coffee bar but they also have a food bank for people who need help. This is also a church and people will receive a warm welcome if they come on a Sunday.
Friday fry up a reasonable prices. Only open until 1pm very friendly volunteers. A home like feeling to the cafe. Some Fridays they have a tabletop sale
In my limited experience this is a great community asset, from youth clubs to blood donation. It's clean, appears to be well run and has rooms available to hire.
