The club has 4 booths for presumably family’s or larger groups of people as the disclaimer says on the tables.nnHowever the laptop bashers with their b and n cups full of coffee from home and their pack lunch always take these booths.nn1 person sat in a booth taking zoom meetings all day is not the idea of a gym :/nnThe 19 90s are on the blower they want their internet cafe back !nnSort it out Dave.
Lovely staff that are always helpful and super friendly, but this club is in desperate need of a revamp.nnThere is a sewage smell that lingers outside the club and inside the loos. The hot tub/spa area and a lot of the gym kit could do with a refresh.nnIt’s a real shame as membership used to include access to nearby Westbury, but the tier system has now changed and that was communicated via a slightly odd email that made it seem like you were doing something wrong by going. It now feels like a lot of money since that access has been taken away.
Absolutely shocking club. We joined in January and were told we could access another club for the spa as Long Ashton doesn’t have one. This is one of the key reasons we joined. It’s not a cheap membership at £278 per month! They have now just moved the goal posts and said we can no longer access the other club. Beyond terrible! The sales person sold us on the spa access to the other club and said we would have access and it’s now been revoked because they decided to change their mind. Absolutely appalled by the treatment! It’s not an insignificant amount for a gym membership paying £278 for myself and my husband and we were basically lied to by the sales team who signed us up and now tied in for 12 months. AVOID DAVID LLOYD AT ALL COSTS. We will be seeking legal advice about this. How on earth can you tell someone they can access another club and then just decide to change it?! Disgusting. Avoid at all costs!
Warren is a fantastic personal trainer at David Lloyd, Long Ashton. Sessions are fun and energetic. Warren gives his clients great health and wellbeing advice that is easy to follow and put into practice. A kind, understanding and holistic approach, I very much enjoy his one to one and group sessions.
After expressing interest in joining, David Lloyd Long Ashton called me to tell me about a “limited-time offer they had just introduced.” I asked them to put it in writing and call me back to finalise things.nnThey did call back a couple of days later, the only catch was that they refused to honour the deal they had just introduced and the price was going to be £588 more than quoted in the email.nnWas looking forward to joining but ended up feeling like I was subjected to sleazy and dishonest pressure sales tactic.
