Good walk and wildlife. Saw lots of birds and frogs kids walked all the way round. Lots to do at park. Could spend all day there as lots to do. Food served on site hot and cold and only have to pay £2 for the day

Most of the play area was muddy and in need of a lick of paint. Some of the path is closed due to a fallen tree. Not sure if anyone maintains it. On the plus side the dog loved the walk around.

Great country park. Well kept woodlands and play area. Cafe with views across reservoir a real bonus. Spent many a fun afternoon with grandsons. Parking £2 for 24 hour might seem unreasonable to some people, although typical throughout most of the country parks.

Jan '17 Like so many other country parks, this could be a lovely public space on the outskirts of town, offering a glimpse to the countryside without having to go out & look for it. But sadly, it's not. It's a very run down, depressing scrubby fringe of a wood around a rather dirty resavoir, which is a shame, because it could so easily be so much more. The car park is rather small. But at £2 it's not too bad. The public toilets are not nice & are in desperate need of refurbishment. The information centre is a great space but sadly lacks much information. The outdoor cafe is quite nice & serves a decent cuppa & jacket spud. The way marked walks around the resa are nice & well planned & it's clear some maintenance work is being carried out, but an awful lot more desperately needs to be done, quickly, to make this wasteland in to the Country Park it should be.

Nice walk around the reservoir & good play area for children. Parking is £2 all day.
