Young college with already a few Nobel prize holders in their ranks. No undergrads here. Garden is small but cosy; food has improved a lot in recent years. Bar still offers the best collection of whiskies in town. Library overlooking the granta inspires for longer hours of study.
Quiet college located a few minutes away from the market square. I love the scenic little lake within with the beautiful buildings around it!
A really pretty college with a great setting amongst the Cambridge river and gardens. I attended the Darin May Ball and had a good time. It was nicely laid out, well attended and well provisioned. Some very pretty areas were set up and everyone that I spoke to had a good time.
Closed at the moment but definitely worth a visit when things go back to normal. Lovely views great food right next to the river.
A small but oh so pretty college, with trees and islands at the rear and the Cam glittering amongst them. Food is passable but no better than that. The bar, happily, is both attractive and cheap as are some of the occupants, although it might not work out.
The oldest and largest of the Cambridge graduate colleges, Darwin benefits from an excellent location - right on the river and a short walk to the city center. Darwin contains beautiful gardens and its own private island. During the day you can enjoy a lunchtime humanities seminar and a sun-filled dining hall. In the evening, you won't find a better or friendlier college bar than "DarBar".
Founded on 28 July 1964, Darwin was Cambridge University's first graduate-only college, Named after one of the university's most famous families, that of Charles Darwin. The family previously owned some of the land, on which the college now stands. It is the largest graduate college of Cambridge.
Very serene and informal college, with gardens you can actually walk on! The building is of classic Brutalist architecture, and do visit the famous Dar Bar at night.
Idyllic setting in the heart of Cambridge in the grounds of Darwin College
Host was a little disappointing, didn't bring us enough drinks. Other than that very nice time.
