Amazing produce with fantastic service. I call in once or twice a week. Since starting to buy my meat from here I won't go anywhere else. The meat is always amazing quality, unlike the bland rubbish pumped full of water that you get at the supermarkets. You can cook without worrying that you're going to have your food shrink and be left with a pan full of water. Produce is always clearly laid out and priced so you know exactly what you are going to pay for your meat. They also do a range of hampers and bundles which are fantastic value. The staff are always full of life and happy to help. My daughter loves coming with me to do our shop as all the staff have taken the time to get to know her and always say hello and goodbye to her even if they haven't been serving us personally. The Deli counter is always well stocked with wide range of pies and cheeses as well as other household staplesand the staff are again lovely. On top of all this add in all the amazing charity work they have done and the effort that they put into taking care of the local homeless particularly through Winter. Amazing business and well worth a visit! As my daughter is fond of saying to anyone who asks "They are so much more than JUST a butchers!"
This place is a dump!!!! They cut beef and then proceed to slide pork through the beef blood on the cutting board. Not sanitary AT ALL!!! If you don't believe me, please check his page out on Facebook there's a video of him doing it.. he's going to make a lot of people sick. Don't trust him.
Great place one of the best butchers around when my mum was a life she went no were else went went too the she took in there when we we're younger so been brought with the owners and staff they worked hard too get were they are now there meat is 100%good quality u pay for good quality meat that what they provide they Great deals too suite every ones budget I say one of best butchers around leeds by far very clean butchers they porkies cooked meats etc so practically nearly get everything for nice roast dinner etc don't take my word for it go give try for self so best thing too do is go down too there butchers support them
1st time in this shop in Arndale Centre, Crossgates. The steak and onion pie I bought is the best I have ever eaten. Looking forward to tasting the other items I bought. This is definitely my butchers from now on. Wishing you all every success going forward.
Have been buying from them for years, rarely a problem & when there is it's sorted straight away. Always friendly & happy. They have cheered me up with their videos throughout covid & commend them for the fact they kept going, when the country was in madness. My mum thinks their pigs trotters make best stock for soup & loves the oxtail. Overall fantastic butchers & awesome guys & girls x
Have been shopping here for the last 6/7 years and there's a reason we keep going back. Top quality meat, eggs, butter and cheeses at great prices. The staff are always very friendly, full of recommendations and the charity work they also do is helping a lot of people in need. We send everyone their way, Yorkshire's #1 isn't just a slogan!
These guys and gals are as is the meat they sell. They all make you feel extremely welcome and have a good banter which cannot be said of all stall holders. Beware of Adrian though ... only joking fella. I shop for a disabled lady and she's extremely picky about her meat. She very recently said to me Malcom Michael's sell some of the nicest lamb chops she's ever had and I can 100% vouch for this statement. Keep it, you're all doing an amazing job
These guys wont tell you but I will! Helping VCS help the homeless people of Leeds and the not so well off with food and £100’s on presents at Christmas time and through out the year,its tough being in business at the moment so this makes their donations all the more meaningful JTPVCS
Personally only buy meat from 2 butchers and this place is one of them. Always happy and cheerful stuff went above and beyond at Xmas with their hampers never had any issue with anything we have brought from them tried some different cuts and mal and ade advised of ways to cook and how to get the best from it and let's not forget the deli and of course let's acknowledge what they do for various charities throughout the year and everyday they help the homeless and those down on their luck with free hot drinks a bite to eat and a good old chin wag
Been using these butchers for over 10 years, tried others but don't come even close to these guys, always have what you need, will cut thickness to your steaks as you want. Price is reasonable, if you're looking for cheap then your not getting quality, fact!! But these guys cater for all.
