My daughter had her 7th birthday here with her friends and cousins. All I can say is wow what an experience. The customer service was amazing they went above and beyond, they had helped me set things up, blow up the ballons, provided drinks for my guest. The lady Cherise who works there really took care of me and my guest from beginning to end. Made the kids feel soo special and the ballet teacher was soo patient with the kids and made it soo fun for them. I am sooo happy over all with everything, will definitely be coming back, my friends and family said the same things as we were all very impressed.
I had the best time at Danceworks. I was welcomed into the Danceworks family on my first day, and from then on, I felt at home away from home until my last day. The mentor programme helped me progress not only in terms of my dance skills but also as a person. All the teachers, especially my mentor, were fabulous, and I felt very supported throughout my whole programme. I would truly recommend it to everyone who wants to intensely work on their dance skills and also to anyone who has always wanted to feel like living in one of those dance movies.
We came here for an Eras theme hen do party where Anya taught us an incredible routine to a Taylor Swift song. She had the whole group nailing the routine by the end and helped us take lots of videos. Would definitely recommend!
Facilities are totally unacceptable, not worth for the price of the classes... some studios too small, others too old, floors worn out and walls not painted in centuries! The toilets... just see the pictures!!! It's a shame because the teachers I tried salsa are great, kind and fun, and location perfect. But the place needs a serious renovation, if they want to keep charging those prices. They say they have refurbished most of the building, but they didn't open that side because the social distancing! what social distancing, dancing salsa with 8 different people in 1 hour?. But they didn't refurbish in centuries, I guess... so, put us in the new refurbished studios and toilets, or drop off the prices, because it's not worth to pay 14£ +10£ annual fee for a class in such a terrible place!
The Masterclass was very interesting, especially the exercises we did in the centre to improve technique, which Ivan added in because they would help us. The adage was interesting and other exercises were unique. Happy to learn more from Ivan Putrov.
I like there are variety of classes available and some good instructors and staff at reception are super nice but I've done 3 classes so far and none of them started on time, always 10 mins late. Most studios lack ventilation, so stuffy and so hot, to a point it's unbearable. Especially because classes are back to back in the same studio. In one of the classes I couldn't bare and left half way. Smell and the heat was sickening. Sorry, wish I could leave better review but this needs improving.
Danceworks is my favourite drop in studio in London. All of the staff members are very friendly and kind, and the teaching is excellent. The beginners class on Tuesday from 1-2:30 was excellent, it was the perfect level for me. The actual studios are very nice too! I will definitely keep coming back.
Absolutely love Danceworks. They have the best artists/teachers you can find in London, great studio space, lots of classes to choose from, and wonderful staff members. I pop in for classes whenever I'm in town and sign up for online classes when I'm away. Danceworks is my number one go-to studio in London.
Beautiful space for all kinds of dance you can ever imagine. Lovely staff and the number of classes, courses and visiting masterclasses are so impressive. I’m really enjoying the variety of ballet classes and levels offered!
What fantastic organisation from Danceworks to design a bespoke dance session for my friend’s hen do! The dance instructor, Shelaine, was fantastic!! We all enjoyed and the moves have stuck in our heads - so much fun! Thank you!
