Story

We’re a stone’s throw from the St Annes’ gorgeous beach, a two minute walk away from the town of St Annes, a 25 minute walk from the quaint town of Lytham or a 10 minute car ride to Blackpool, where holidaymakers can take in some of the best theatre shows in the world or experience the thrills that the Pleasure Beach has to offer.

This is a lovely, welcoming family friendly hotel. The family rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is lots of attention given to activities for children of all ages. The swimming pool is excellent. There is a bar and ballroom where adults can relax. The food is excellent and the staff are helpful, friendly and cheerful. It's a popular hotel and unfortunately parking can be a problem at the weekend especially.
Dalmeny Hotel in Lytham St. Annes was a decent experience overall, though there were a few areas that could use improvement.nnThe hotel is in a fantastic location on the seafront and it’s close to the main areas, so there's plenty to do and see nearby.nnA family-friendly atmosphere, with a kids' pool and entertainment aimed at keeping families engaged. The rooms were comfortable and clean, though a bit dated. Some areas of the hotel could benefit from a refresh, as the décor in parts of the building looks a bit tired.nnThe staff were friendly and tried their best to be attentive and helpful. Food was decent; there was a nice selection at breakfast, and while dinner options were plentiful, the quality was good. Kids buffet could have varying options on each night instead of the same selections.nnOverall, the Dalmeny Hotel is a good choice if you're looking for a family-friendly seaside stay, but a few updates and improvements would go a long way in making it a more memorable experience.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Dalmeny! Staff were courteous and helpful and the hotel has an impressive amount of facilities and activities especially for families. Food and drink was decent especially breakfast. Overall good value in my opinion and we will definitely stay again.
Recently had a two night stay probably our fourth stay over past 20 years. It is in a desperate need for refurbishment. Bar area quite dirty particularly the sliding door out onto the outside terrace, fingerprints all over it. On our second day, the housekeepers only changed the towels, bins weren't emptied, bed wasn't made, tea/coffee not replenished. The room was huge but lacked any cosy feel. I wouldn't recommend staying to anyone or stay again myself. The pool is nice but again changing rooms poor/dirty. The only positive was the breakfast, couldn't fault it
Brilliant hotel on Sea front with parking. Indoor pool and a games room where we played table tennis. Food is excellent and children loved the fact that they could choose and return.nWe had the Dinner, bed and breakfast option.nExcellent hotel.
