The Dalesman Cafe is a quaint little tea shop in Gargrave, famous for its nostalgic sweet collection. It also accommodates cyclists...lots of cyclists.

We have a team of dedicated and friendly staff who are willing to attend to your every need; even if that means asking for one of every single sweet from our 100+ jars. We do get some strange requests..but hey, considering we clean our skirting boards religiously and parade round the village dressed as animals, you could say we're a strange kinda cafe!

Loved our lunch, quaint tea room and the lady who owns it was knowledgeable about the local area, loved the decor took me back to my childhood
On the second of October my husband and I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening in Cygnets Bistro. Service was fantastic and the food delicious, perfectly cooked and presented. The whole evening was a joy with quirky and original decor and a delightful aura of nostalgia. We couldn't fault a thing and would highly recommend.
Small and very friendly. Lovely sweets in shop too. Lovely food. And quirky gifts.
