Called Dale and Newbery on two separate occasions to try to book an appointment so as to meet and speak to a solicitor to get some relatively simple advice, for which I was willing to pay. The first call was with reception who promised a call back from one of two solicitors - no call back received. I called again 3 days later asking when I could expect to speak to someone, I was forwarded to a PA, I think, who asked what help I wanted, and then after being told it would be £220 + VAT for a conversation with a solicitor, was promised again I would be called back...I am still waiting...needless to say I am taking my business elsewhere.

The experience I had at this solicitors last year was caring, considerate and organised. I don't feel they were any more expensive than any other I've ever used, they are a business not a charity after all, and after x years at law school I too would want a decent living!
