"A one bedroom holiday cottage and a CL caravan site very close to RAF Coningsby for all the fast jets and BBMF.We are next to a busy road and the jets are very noisy so please don’t come here if you are after a peace and quiet holiday, this holiday park is exciting and very noisy! A lovely one bedroom holiday cottage with a king sized comfy bed, an open plan kitchen/lounge and a shower room with a large shower. There is a well fenced garden with table and chairs on both sides of the cottage for morning and afternoon sun. Parking right outside and wheelchair wide doors.The caravan Park is a small well kept site with pitches all named after planes, a 10 ft high bank for an even better view of the planes and lots of wild life."

Arrived home after a lovely week at runway cottage. Very comfortable and home from home. We didn't go very far but enjoyed watching the jets flying over every day. Dogs really enjoyed it too.
After not having had a holiday for four years and being in ill health my husband and I stayed for five days at Dakota park, staying in runway cottage which really is beautiful. The cottage itself is tastefully furnished, bright and airy and had a wonderful comfy bed, what more could you wish for. The owner Michelle is lovely and is so very helpful, and if you love aircraft like we do this is certainly the place to stay, we can't wait to stay at Dakota park again. Would certainly recommend.
Michelle was amazing, very welcoming and made sure we had everthing we needed. Great depth of knowledge of the area and especially the RAF base. This little gem is an absolutely first class place for spotters. Will most definitely be going again.
Excellent site,extremely tidy and in great spot for plane spotting raf typhoons and historic aircraft at RAF coningsby. Only improvement I would suggest is to upgrade facilities to allow electric charging of vehicles for an extra charge, especially in quite a rural location,it would have been really useful for us
We have just spent two nights at Dakota Park and are already wishing we had booked longer! Michelle, the owner, was lovely - very helpful when we booked, on arrival and throughout our stay. The site itself is extremely well looked after and overlooks fields to the East. There is a very nice atmosphere at the site and the other visitors were all very friendly and equally happy with their stay there. It is superbly located for RAF Coningsby and the jets fly overhead which is breathtaking. There is a lane which takes you to the edge of the RAF base 5 mins walk away, or the aircraft spotters car park is 4 miles away and big enough for motorhomes. There is lots to see and do in the area and we can't wait to return!!
Stayed here a few times with our caravan. Amazing friendly little site and perfect for plane spotting at Coningsby. Owner is really friendly and helpful.
Fantastic site, Michelle is a lovely hostess and the cottage we stayed in was beautiful. We would recommend this place to everyone especially if you enjoy watching the planes and jets flying from the nearby airbase which get very close - take your camera!! We were lucky to see a Spitfire and 2 euro fighters
Beautiful scenery, fantastic run park, the owner is very attentive with good knowledge of the surrounding area. We stayed in the holiday cottage which was home from home had everything you needed and more, will definitely be back.
Just had 4 nights at Dakota Park again! 5 well spaced pitches, clean and tidy and lovely Michelle to greet us. She is always readily available to answer questions and give hints and tips on local walks etc. There is obviously road noise but it's to be expected considering the site's location. It doesn't put us off. A great CL in a lovely location.
Stayed in Runway Cottage and it's a cracking place , very well looked after and comfortable , will definitley be back and would like to thank Michelle for the welcome and information on the aeroplane displays , made my holiday .
