Absolutely stunning fish and chips. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Chips looked a little pale but that took nothing away from the flavour. They were crispy and fluffy inside. Fish was just right too. Nice and crispy batter and lovely moist white cod inside. Great fish and chips.
Apparent favourite with the locals, fairly standard but nice enough tasting fish and chips or whatever you prefer e.g. battered sausage. Clean and fairly accessible unisex loo, always a plus.
Disappointed that a renowned chip shop such as this has become such poor value. Unacceptable amount of chips for a place that only does one size and at 3 pounds for a small tray I get that there are cost pressures generally but plenty of other better value with similar quality chip shops around in tenby. Can only assume take away customers are subsidising the cost of running the attached restaurant? Avoid till better value prevails. What little chips we got were tasty and well cooked
For a family with coeliac disease this place is awesome and well worth going to for gluten free fish and chips at D. Fecci & Sons. The staff were well informed and very polite as well as being up front with waiting times as the gluten free meals are cooked to order the takeaway section was well planned and kept separate from the restaurant. I'm going to take a guess your wondering why I have only put four stars in stead of five, well that's down to two things, one being the quantity of the fish and chips in the three that we ordered was small although the large peas was very large indeed the fish was fresh and an ok size the batter was brilliant as it had herbs but the chips were a little short of filling, so the quality was spot on, now on to a personal or regional preference the fish had skin on them now I don't have an issue as i still had mine but the kids were a little creeped out by it now after some explaining to the one he did eat it as its good for you, cardiovascular health and cell repair, and has been shown to reduce inflammation but just be aware as I know some people don't like skin. Anyway thank you to the staff for your help :
It was a really yummy fish I enjoyed eating it and the chips were soft and nice the person who worked there gave us free bags of harribows as we’re leaving so I’d recommend popping in if you’re looking for somewhere to eat
Great fish & chips -- batter is not too thick and has a lovely taste. Mushy peas are much tastier than at other shops. I had the mini cod & chips and a jumbo sausage, and it was the perfect meal size for me : Highly recommended!Food: 5/5
Simple traditional family recipes of Fish & Chips. Traditional Battered Cod is the best.
Top notch as always, sensible sized portions of top quality fish and chips. Also big plus for me is that they also do really good gluten free fish and chips, a rare thing to find. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free cooked to order
Coming back after 3 yrs and still same high quality fish n chips; Mushy peas and curry sauce were also tasty. Plenty of ketchup, tartar etc which is good, unlike some tightwad shops up north. Like the biogradeable chunky fork n knife. Decent, friendly, service & banter. 3yrs ago: Some of the best fish and chips I've ever eaten in my life. Fish so fresh. Lovely chips with skins. Great staff too. Vegetarian friendly
Stunning gluten free fish and chips even had gluten free curry which was lovely, my girlfriend had the lemon fish cakes and chips and said it was 10/10 on taste and quality, it is pricey but worth it completely especially if you have celiac disease. Lovely staff members too. Dietary restrictions: Brilliant celiac friendly menu, haven’t been glutened once and I’ve eaten here 4/5 times now
