Good place for a quick bite
Traditional family-friendly informal Café/restaurant, which has delivered welcoming, prompt service consistently over the 2 decades I've been a customer. Popular at most times/seasons.
Lovely food, quick service, my only complaint would be that they haven't switched off the starter menu and onto the pre-lockdown menu, although I understand that this is not their fault.

Had breakfast there and it was excellent, very popular and very well staffed .
Pretty bad. Lasange served as if from the oven, but was lukewarm. Not very flavoursome. Like bad pub food. Were not doing the Rishi Dish deal so ended up expensive. I am wondering why they wouldn't take advantage of the deal, especially when they are empty. Poor service. Ignored when trying to pay. Should have walked past.
The breakfast I had was so good! But there was a really long wait even when the shop wasn’t super busy.
I enjoyed the ham salad but the Brown bread wasn't very fresh and no offer of a discount... disappointed...
