Visited Cymmer Library last week for the first time researching Lewis family tree. Received a very warm welcome and was amazed at the range of events that take place each week. My sister and I were able to observe local residents of Cymmer producing some fantatic art work. Met locals using the service and viewed an amazing exhibition that took place last week. Gwyneth, June and team were so helful and approachable. Even provided refreshments from their delightful cafe. We were given useful material to aid our understanding of the villiage- past and present. June Corcoran and the historical team have worked extremely hard in a short period of time, to give us factual details of several generations of the Lewis family and even the history of those living in 31 Margham street. Can't rate the library's service enough. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Thanks again, Jo Underhill and Jacqueline Lewis from Worcestetshire. Picture of our visit added to website.
