Peter Medd established Cygnet in 2001 and the firm has gone from strength to strength over the last decade. The team at Cygnet are committed to providing a family legal service to all sectors of the community and have a broad range of experience and expertise.

James Gallagher is a credit the company. I've been investing in property for the past 14 years, I've used various solicitors in my time.  I can honestly say James did a fantastic job of the two properties he's assisting me with. He remained patient even though I know I'm a pain for chasing people up constantly. I contacted this firm July this year, was led to believe they would be able to represent me  should I meet the requirements for funding yet having already explained to them I had a legal aid certificate already in place. Wasted 2 very precious months. Diabolical and unprofessional in the Court of Protection department. The family law are just as bad. Do not contact them because goodness knows how many other people they have treated this way. No empathy whatsoever. Nice reception staff but that's all.

Possibly one of the worst Solicitors firms I have had the displeasure of knowing. Its taken my mother 4 years to get her very easy, mutually agreed divorce sorted and still hasnt had the correct forms given to her. The case is still going on.  She was passed from pillar to post with various solicitors and there have been plenty of mistakes made. We have highlighted these in writing twice to one of the directors, who has completely ignored us.  They are more than happy to take your money and drag things out but so happy to have a conversation and resolve issues.  Keep away!!!

I completed a lasting power of attorney with Chloe Million. She made the whole process extremely easy, explaining everything that we needed to know. She was very professional, helpful and informative.

I have used Cygnet on a number of occasions when buying and selling properties. Hopefully I won't need them for a while as they helped me purchase my lovely new home. Thank you so much to Vicci and the conveyancing team for ensuring everything went so quickly and smoothly. They were so supportive, nothing was too much trouble, I would highly recommend.

I can not recommend Rachel from Cygnet law enough. I heard horror stories about solicitors when purchasing a property. But rachel proved me wrong. Excellent and speedy service.

After being let down by another law company during a house sale which made us loose a lot of money - we turned to Cygnet Law to finish our Help To Buy Redemption as I knew they were local. The price was competitive and Theresa, Helen and Mandy from the conveyancing team helped us complete this transaction. I didn't have to chase them once which was so refreshing. They were honest and refunded a slight overpayment I'd made which I thought was very good of them as I wouldn't have noticed! I'd use again this company again - thank you!

Very speedy process. Sarah & Melanie were always on hand and pointed everything out clearly and dealt with everything promptly. Decided to use based on recommendations and fair pricing. Very pleased with the service and would recommend and use again for future purchases.
