Loads of free parking. Great views from every seat in the house. Friendly staff. Great to see institutions like this thriving in the North East!
Awesome venue and location, great atmosphere, helpful staff and a really enjoyable night seeing one of South Shields home grown talent.
Went to watch ..Menopause 2 the musical...highly recomended. The Custom House is a excellent place to watch a play or show ..easy access to seating areas and plenty of parking places ..the staff were all friendly and helpful. Be sure to check out the sunset across the Tyne in the evening at the rear of the building. 5 star rating !!
Great for shows and pantos. Only problem was getting through to speak to an actual human! The only number there is for the box office which was closed on the day. You just need to be very prepared when you go with all the information. Parking is easy and free. Shows are extremely high quality.
Seen some great shows and events here. Food and drink are reasonable for a theatre and plenty of parking. The venue is always clean and tidy and the staff pleasant and helpful.
Came here to see my son's award ceremony and it seems really good, it's on the waterside good bar quite cheap although order a coke and you get a pint it does my head in that the stage and tiered seating are good and free car park for three hours. Coffee was a bit milky and not as hot as could be but it was really busy
Pitman Poets were really good. Nostalgic songs and great humour. Seating was ok, and not too much getting up and down letting people out to the loo! Maybe the age group was more polite
Lovely little theatre good seats ,views, staff very helpful, and icecream not over priced
Great place. Free parking, beautiful building, good food, good shows. Pantomimes and monthly comedy club are the best around and such good value.
A great place to stop by at any time of day. Sitting inside, or outside, strolling around or just gazing to the other side of the river, fills with immense pleasure.
