It's okay. They have a range of products to cover any emergency need of technology. But they lack the breadth and depth of products. If you buy something, you're probably buying something that is available there rather than knowing that's the best product for you. It's probably worth checking online, doing your own research before buying what is in store. The staff are kind and professional. I'm giving 3 stars because it was a bit empty for me but might suffice for the average consumer.
Currys is a dobry store with a wide range of products. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are competitive. The store is well-organized and easy to navigate. Overall, I would give Currys 4 stars.
The shop itself was fine. Was greeted by a member of staff and had a slightly odd experience where I wanted to know specific information about a product and to find out when it would be back in stock. The conversation didn't really go as I expected and was sat down and given lots of information about other products that I didn't want and didn't ultimately actually answer to the two keys questions I was searching for
Many thanks to staff member James who went above and beyond when we were returning faulty x-box 4Jan23. He patiently tried it all out using store leads, then checked again using leads provided with the x-box and quickly diagnosed the problem was not with the x-box unit but with one of the cables. Friendly, approachable and knowledgeable....this guy is an asset to your company and quickly diagnosed and remedied the problem. New cable £9.99 and off we went- the warranty does not cover for faulty leads unfortunately. . Thank you James. 5/5
I really enjoyed wandering around the store looking at products. I needed a fridge freezer. It was very refreshing! All the staff were lovely- friendly and professional. The assistant helped with my choice. Sadly it didn’t fit so I had to return to the store but once again they were really helpful and sorted out a suitable replacement for me without any hesitation even though it was my error
Great shop, very knowledgeable staff, but shop online. Began to think we were invisible as we waited 20 minutes before an assistant came to us. To add insult to injury the item I wanted was out of stock.
I had a problem with my laptop and not tech savvy got great help and advice from Billy. 'We're here to help' is their slogan and Billy was really great - sorted it out very quickly - complete hassle-free service. Could not recommend highly enough. Many thanks.
I bought a vacuum cleaner which proved far too heavy for me to use comfortably. There was no quibble about refunding my money with no pressure to buy another. Lovely helpful staff!
Needed an ssd drive fitted to my laptop so i popped in and asked them how much and was astonished that they said they didn't touch Dell computer. I was informed that Dell had additional items that needed to be removed to gain access to the drive area. Their website doesn't state they don't upgrade Del laptos. I had bought this laptop from this store and found it laughable.that they tried to sell me aftercare products only to find out now that they wouldn't touch it if it was needing repaired. Went elsewhere and found it cheaper and quicker.
After a failed attempt at another Currys store to buy a laptop due to lack of staff we decided to give them another chance. This time we actually got a member of staff to speak to who told us the laptop we wanted was out of stock everywhere. Will buy straight from manufacturer instead of wasting time with this company now as they seem uninterested in sales.
