Thank you very much to Antony at the Scarborough Currys store this evening who was extremely helpful in cheerfully assisting me with an online order collection and also carried the items out to my car. Very efficient and genuinely friendly. Brightened up my evening despite the torrential rain. Great service. I was impressed that the store even had the items for my collection. I got a real bargain and half expected Currys to have cancelled the order, so I was very happy all round that both items were there as the email had stated. Thank you
Helpful friendly staff, but prices through the ceiling, priced a certain model tumble drier up. Bought the exact same one from a reputable well known dealer not amazon for £160 cheaper and free delivery. So in total ,saved around £190, massive saving !!!
Just came here to write a review just for Ant who served us at the tills. He was super friendly, very helpful, explained how the warranty on our product worked and exactly what you'd want from a staff member. The Currys itself was well stocked, lots of staff around to help and well laid out.
Went to Scarborough branch of Currys on 26/10/22 at around 1530 ish. We had the good fortune to be served by Dan in the electrical dept upstairs. We purchased three white items. Dan went more than the extra mile, more like a marathon. What an exemplary member of the sales team. Best wishes. Sue Simpson .
Very helpful mobile phone advisor in Scarborough branch, Dougie, sorted out systems/IT problem with purchasing a phone in-store on a limited time deal with trade in. Thought I wouldn't get the deal but due to his diligence over three days! including liaising with Currys head office , I did. Top customer service at local level. Many thanks.
Really good customer service, happy with my purchase. On website it said 10-30 days delivery but went in the store and they already had it in stock for takeaway or delivery. Got it within 7 days.
As much as they improved almost everything in field of speed and quality of service in store, there is is a lot to say about how disappointing was delivery process. For a last few years my family and my company were regulars in Scarborough. Last Black Friday was a confirmation to avoid shopping there if you can't pick up something from shop storages straight away. None of promised standards were kept for delivery agreed level and details of Currys servises. Although, if you are lucky enough to chase a product available in store, you you will be pleasently surprised by a level of customer service. Clients are being noticed, well taken care of and just one person really to avoid behind a counter. Big tumbs up for a manager of Scarborough shop! He made spectacular changes in this branch' organization in time of C19. Overall good job, but still a lot space for improvement left. I can't go shopping there with no hesitation.
Covid - good system in place. There is a staff member and station with gloves and sanitiser in the foyer. The staff member has a radio and checks the section you visit does not have too many people in. There are 2mtr tape markings around the store. Most staff were not wearing masks, but I was. Car Park - free, Parent/Child and Disabled slots near the entrance. Accessibility - good, level entrance with wide electronic doors. Wide aisles, lift and stairs to the first floor. Goodies: Delivery or collection. PC World, Phones etc on the ground floor, Curry's whites goods and household appliances on the first. Business Centre and Support Services PC World Staff - very friendly and helpful.
Visited Current Scarborough yesterday. 5 staff chatting in group. Approached one of them who said it wasn't his job to deal with my problem and would have to wait for the assistant to stop serving. This chap was very helpful and saved me some money. Upstairs no staff in sight. Wanted to buy a dishwasher. Eventually an assistant came upstairs. He hadn't a clue about dishwashers. Left very frustrated and decided ided to go elsewhere.
Went for a TV.. jarvis was extremely helpful. Very polite. We did buy a bigger screen than intended but very happy with our purchase
