DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CURRY'S!!!!!!!!!!!! Their customer service is non existent if you have a problem. I tried to return a faulty kettle, which I have only had 5 months, it is glass and has cracked, they refused to take it back because of "health and safety" , are you having a laugh, I managed quite well to get the kettle to the store without severing any arteries. I will NEVER buy anything else from them, they've just lost a £1,000 sale for refusing to replace a kettle costing £35, WELL DONE!!!!!! Had to give 1 star, they deserve NONE. Look online at the poor reviews if you don't believe me.
It's very poor customer service that treats the coustomer impatiently. We're ashamed to sell Sony Japanese products in a place with such useless service.
Friendly staff, great range of products and lots of knowledge between the various staff members. However the only downside is there always seems to be too little staff. It's very difficult to find someone when you need them and need advice. This isn't a one off unfortunately either as I've bought a number of items from them in the past few months and this has been a consistent issue.
We went to purchase a new hob at the weekend. After being assisted quickly and efficiently by one of the floor staff, we were then passed over to a member of staff called Gabriel to take payment at the till. He asked for all our personal details address and email address. I was a little reluctant to give out our personal details and just asked for a printed receipt instead. He was obviously annoyed at me questioning the process but rather than reassure me he was very rude. He had a bad attitude and was impatient with us. I understand that it’s company policy to ask for our details but there’s no excuse for the attitude. It left a bad taste and has put me off shopping at currys altogether.
Spacious and well-stocked store. Unfortunately, the staff let it down. When trying to pre-order something I was promised a call back that never happened, and they seemed to be unable to do anything apart from very basic transactions. Not sure if it was an issue with training, their systems, or just a lack of effort from those I dealt with. One of the advisors was plain rude and shouldn't be working in a customer-facing role. After three visits I gave up and ordered online, which was far easier. I won't be going back to this store unless I really have to.
This is one of Curry's modern, airy stores. There is good space to look at the products and there are a lot of them. Staff don't hassle you when you are browsing but are helpful if you need advice.
Purchased TV online with store collection on Thursday was badly damaged when removed from box. Returned to store today to be told its not on the system has collectedyet my customer account shows it is! So will have to wait until tomorrow when hopefully the status will be updated. Also when I went back in the store to ask another question the member of staff I'd been dealing with was speaking with a colleague slagging off a customer, who I actually thought was me and when I said I'm here listening to you as she had her back to me she said oh it's not you it's that woman and pointed to the customer she was talking about. Shocking experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought a phone from Currys via eBay. It is faulty. I've returned it. They now have my phone and my money. I now can't get a refund from eBay because it's over 90 days. Can't get a refund from PayPal because it's over 180 days. Can't charge back through my bank because it's a PayPal standing order style payment. Currys just say contact payment provider. Utterly ridiculous.
Visited looking to buy a printer the store was quiet ,two young men I asked to assist went into the storeroom and a lady with a walk-in talkie was walking up and down. I asked for help she replied, “ we have a que at the moment as soon as I can I’ll get someone”.”I replied they are talking in the back”. She again said “ we have a que”. I said “ where?” Only two other people in the store and they were talking to staff at the tills. She then said, “ oh no we haven’t a que I’ll get someone”. Obviously to idle to speak herself. The manager was outside smoking she continued to strut up and down I walked out of that department. Plenty of business more interested in sales than these people. The Head Office need to get a grip. You wonder why stores are shutting !!!
Went to Crewe to buy a laptop, not in stock they checked which store had them said warrington and stoke had them.Drove to warrington no stock assistant said we have 1 the demo they should have told you . bought online from AO good price and delivery in 2 days you cannot phone a store and check stock terrible attitude , do not appear to care at all
