Not a bad electronics store helped by the fact that it is not huge. So it is possible to find stuff.

Appalling- 1) Husband ill-advisedly bought a DVD player from Curry's, which stopped working within weeks. Curry's would not replace it, but only send it for repair. It was away for much longer than stated and they failed to inform us when it finally arrived back at the shop, having promised to do so. We found out it was there by despairing of the wait and calling them. Shortly after, the handset stopped working. They arranged for this to be replaced after I made it very clear that repair was not acceptable. We are now able to use the DVD player - 4 months after purchasing it. 2) I would never, ever buy anything from Curry's, but I did think it would be OK to go there to try out a camera. Big mistake. I phoned first (could only get hold of central phone no.) to make sure they had the model in store and stated exactly why I wanted to see it. I was assured that the camera was in my local store. I made a round trip of 12 miles and wasted an hour of my time, as the camera had no batteries in it and could therefore not be tested. I asked an assistant, once I found one, if they could put batteries in the camera and they said no - they could not take the camera off its security gizmo. I told them about my phone call and my journey made specially, but to no avail - the assistant's boss also would not put a battery in. What's the point of having them on display if you can't test them? "So that you can see the size"!!

Small amout of stock, limited choice. Online is much better

Like any other Currys PC World, staff don't bother. Not the best stocked store either.
