Excellent customer service from the gentleman who assisted with my purchase of a new Hotpoint washing machine. He explained the spec and features with no pushy, hard selling tactics. The extended warranty prices were very good too. A very happy and smooth purchase. The delivery driver arrived within the allotted time and happily brought inside for me. Not sure why this Curry’s has a 3.8 rating, our experience was excellent. We went in to buy a new fridge-freezer as our old one had packed up. We were greeted at the door, but elected to browse on our own for a bit before asking for assistance. After a respectful period, Michelle walked up with a big smile and asked us if we had any questions. We had a few dozen, but she answered each thoroughly, giving us advantages and disadvantages of different models. She was very patient during our entire visit. We ended up buying a model that was on sale as it wasn’t the newest version. Michelle guided us through purchase and delivery options efficiently, but still with great patience. Her performance was impressive…enough so that we will return to Curry’s Kettering for future purchases and hope to find her on the sales floor. She was a model sales associate.

So in the last week I've been in three times to spend probably £400 on a smart watch and on each occasion been completely blanked by the staff. On Friday 23nd March I went in around 2.45pm and stood near the smart watches as I was undecided still which one I wanted. There were 6 staff and two customers being sorted by one of these; four staff were discussing something non work related and the other was glued to their phone. Quite clearly I was looking for help or I was about to steal something but either way they were all too engrossed in themselves or their socials to bother doing the job they're paid for. Even when I left and walked past them not a word was spoken to me. I won't be going back and as I know all the runners in Kettering I won't be recommending they use this shop either. I know I could ask before I get that reply, but I don't see how a person who is over 6 feet tall can be so inconspicuous that their presence is overlooked!
The people make the experience so despite my repair not being successful it was my decision to abort having been reliably kept up to date and the team explaining every step and the associated risk and cost. Great team. Recommended.
