Some very tasty dishes here. Special Tikka korai was especially tasty with loads of spicy herbs. Staff were very friendly and the service was pretty fast. Don't forget to bring your own alcohol! Non alcoholic beverages are available to he purchased in the restaurant.

I have been going to the curry lounge since they first opened they never disappoint lovely dine in restaurant totally spotless they really take pride in what they do... Very well presented... The staff are lovely really friendly... very professional... food is amazing... Best part its bring your own alcohol! Take away is just as nice as dining in... Oh yes the meal for two you get loads well worth the money... The reason for my review they are One of the Best Indians out there says it all when they have won award 5* star rating from more than 300 local reviews one of Derbyshire's most loved Indian restaurant... I would highly recommend.
After having visited the Curry Lounge on a number of occasions over the last few years and always found it an excellent all rounder it pains me to have to be critical.. But our visit tonight wasn't the usual great experience that we have come to expect - our starters were quite shrunken since our last visit sadly the prices hadn't shrunk with them The main courses were they're usual excellent standard and the service was very good too.. but the dessert that we chose was nothing like the picture on the menu and it was so poor we left most of it.. £4.95 and I've had better from Iceland for a fraction of this.. lesson learnt.. Still a good restaurant but needs to keep its eye on the ball..
What a lovely freshly cooked hot meal we had from the Curry Lounge last night. The House Special Vindaloo was very tasty and the Tikka starters were great, nothing to complain about whatsoever.
Went to the curry lounge for the first time on my husband birthday. We wasn’t disappointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful explaining new dishes we hadn’t heard of before. Excellent food can take your own alcohol. Can’t wait to go back
