We had a lovely dinner here last night! We left it very late to find somewhere to eat and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. There was great vegan options on the menu too : I noticed another review about the vegan dishes including dairy. We didn't find this. Would recommend if you're looking for kind service and tasty food!
Everything was little different from your typical Indian. Delicious meal that is highly aromatic and mildly seasoned. It is due to the influence of nations taste, they blend the taste of UK and India and it's a totally different thing in a positive way!! Totally worth it & recommended!
Delicious food prepared in a very authentic manner. Served by a very friendly polite and helpful lady. The restaurant was clean and tidy. We had biryani and it came in a ceramic pot known as a dum. The top was sealed with some dough and so the lovely flavours captured perfectly. The side dishes were also very tasty. Everything was lovely. The atmosphere was pleasant but sadly for Friday evening it was very quiet. I think because it is not on a busy main street. I hope it normally is much busier.
By far, this restaurant offers the best Indian cuisine in the area. Other Indian takeaways wouldn't care to season the rice, but here they do it properly. The staff is really welcoming. Totally worth it!

Very hot yet excellent Indian food. Located in Dumfries on a peaceful side street. There isn't a huge menu, but what is available is of the finest quality. The location also has a lovely atmosphere. The best curry we've tasted in Scotland so far!!
Daksh is the best Indian Restaurant we have been to in the UK and atmosphere was also so cool. We have eaten here a lot, takeaway & in the restaurant, always amazing authentic Indian food, fast service & lovely staff too. will come again for new experience. 5/5
We travelled to the Dumfries and Galloway area and had dinner here. They served tasty food and it was beautifully presented. Ambience is amazing. Overall, amazing place to eat.
Best Indian meal I have had in a long while, blend of spices was amazing, food was out of this world, staff were brilliant. My wife and I were just comparing the taste, spicing and quality to Benares in London, We would recommend.
