We always enjoy our food, especially the pudding! The desert menu is so delicious, it's hard to resist buying donuts or waffles every time yum! Delivery can sometimes be long, but they are an incredibly busy place and the staff are always really polite when you call for an update. Food is always worth waiting for. The delivery drivers are lovely, always have a smile : we never go anywhere else now, haven't for over a year.
I've been ordering from curry cottage for a few years now and the service and the food has gone down hill as of late very poor. I've just ordered a cheese burger and a cookie dough ice cream for delivery, the chips were dry and stale as if it's been left in the frier too long and forgot to deliver the ice cream. So called back for the ice cream they eventually delivered that but the wrong dessert which I'm allergic to and unwilling to refund the money of £2.49 for their mistake. It's just disappointing and ridiculous and will not be order from them again .
I’ve been going to this takeaway for so many year and it has been one of the best. Lately since they also took on food fix another business run in the same building they have lacked communication skills and constantly make the wrong order. The milkshakes are made first no matter what else you order and are put in the fridge for the rest of the meal to be completed. Unacceptable and truly saddening. Will not be attending for a while
Chicken tikka very dry paid over £20 and had one bite threw it away, furthermore sorry guys visited the shop hygiene and food safety not well adhered to, all prices covered up and poor value for money. Burgers left out on side. Very dirty takeaway,, please guys improve all the above or your shop will fail. I won't be ordering from you again, by the way I'm a secret shopper will visit again next month and see if shop has improved
Been ordering from here for over 4 years and unfortunetly it is under new management and the chef has no idea how to cook a decent curry!!! The smell and taste was absolutely awful, not eatable!! The takeaway and the management not willing to resolve the issue.. will not be ordering again!!!!
Ordered 2 starters onion Bhaji and shammi kebab and chicken balti for meal the Balti was fine the 2 starters that cost £7 were so burnt they were totally inedible and went straight in the bin whoever packed the starters would have known this I have had meals from here for a long time but will not be ordering from them again
Terrible…. Ordered online and waited over 2 hours rang twice and told it was on the way nothing after 2h 35mins so ordered elsewhere. Won’t order again.
2 hours for food and still didn’t arrive! I wouldn’t go here if it was last takeaway open!!
Had meals from here often, but tonight I ordered a curry etc.. And not only was the meal over cooked and tasted burnt but I was charged £2.45 + for delivery, bye bye!!
Used to be such a good takeaway but for the last few times we have ordered it's taken almost 2 hours to arrive. Then when it does it's cold. I appreciate it can get busy but don't say it's going to be 45 minutes when it clearly isn't. We won't be using them again.
