Chris has been cutting and colouring my hair for years and can honestly say you won't find anyone better locally . The salon is really stylish and has a lovely chilled out vibe. The staff are lovely and look after you really well. Chris is a perfectionist and you will come away loving your cut/colour and will probably be asked where you had it done by complete strangers - I do. Oh and the biscuits are fab.

This is without a doubt the best place to have your hair styled in the area. I have over the years tried many different local salons but once I found Chris and his team I have never left. Everyone is friendly, the decor is fantastic, the chairs are comfortable and the haircuts are perfect. This is a professional establishment where you get a professional service. I can't fault Curl up and Dye in any way and will be returning every month for years to come.

Chris the owner skills has been challenged because I am a tough customer with high needs. Chris has always delivered a good result. The shop has unique decor, and worthy of a look. The shop is special because of the level access and all facilities , good friendly team of staff who supply a lovely drink with biscuit. In my opinion this is the best salon in the area, a little hidden Gem. I am a returning happy customer, who will travel just to find a place that cut hair not corners.

Chris is an absolute natural at cutting and styling hair. He is a perfectionist and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I am extremely fussy about how my hair is cut (it is short, very thick and layered) and Chris has been cutting it for about five years now. I have never left his salon anything short of delighted with his work. When I moved to this area a few years ago I tried all the salons in New Romney and Tenterden in a futile attempt to find a competent hairdresser. I experienced a couple of passable cuts in Tenterden and several absolutely horrendous ones in New Romney. Then I discovered Chris and I haven't looked back. The salon is beautiful and the staff are lovely but, to be quite honest, I would happily sit in a pigsty if it was the only way I could get Chris to cut my hair. Try him, I guarantee you will leave his premises with the best haircut you've ever had.
