Story

Est 2004 - Castlerock welcomed Crusoe's with open arms. One of the first in the area to introduce Artisan Coffee and Foods we became a destination - a home from home for many of our Customers.

Roger Robinson (a dedicated beard grower) defines the word artisan. A hands-on leader who works hard to maintain the standard you are accustomed too.

We thrive on local produce and cook and bake with as much as possible.

We've been coming here since this great coffee shop opened and it continues too be a highlight of our summer visits to Castlerock.  The staff are lovely, the scones beautiful and huge!, cooked breakfast enormous and very tasty, paninis very tasty and the coffee equals or betters any artisan coffee place large cappuccino a particular favourite.  Good range of lunches as well as breakfasts and coffee time choices.  Look out for their dinner and live music evenings too...

Didn't look much from the outside but inside is warm and friendly. Menu more limited than normal but the food was delicious! Coffee was also really good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very cool gem of a place

Couldn't believe the size of the portions. Haven't been here in about 15 years and it was still great. We had club sandwiches and a pita, everyone enjoyed their food.

Would never have found this without being guided by a friendly girl at the train station. Upstairs steep stairs above the local butchers but we'll worth the climb There is a functioning stair lift fit those who can't make the climb Food was good... Well served and very tasty. The menu was restricted due to Covid but what was on offer was varied and interesting. Something to suit most tastes Friendly attentive staff... Worth a 2nd visit in the future

Lovely food friendly staff

Pretty ordinary, nice sandwiches and soup. Cringed when waiter brought our cutlery with his thumb on the ends you put in your mouth! No wiping of tables between customers. Hmmm.

Very good quality food here with every dish served with an innovative twist. We had four various paninis and a ploughmans lunch with five drinks which came to less than £40 which we thought was reasonable given the evidently top quality ingredients on each plate. Nice atmosphere and pleasant staff make this a great find. Highly recommended.

Fab little place, tucked away in a quaint little village by the sea. Friendly staff and really nice food, plus great tasting coffee !! I'm ALWAYS visiting this place when I'm around the area ~ especially after a stroll along the gorgeous beach. It's not a big place, so it does get congested at busy times, but definitely worth a visit !

Thanks  to the staff of Crusoes for the tasty Cheese Board and Sandwich box that I got on Saturday, all the little extras were also appreciated with it. Great quality  and a good price.

I enjoyed Crusoes. Castlerock is a small sea side village on the North Coast. Their scones are delicious. Massive - enough for 2 people. Had gorgeous home made vegetable soup. I would recommend it to anyone. Worth a visit.
