Helpful and friendly staff on newspaper till but the restaurant is different story. The guy that takes your order has shakes and sweats no idea, hopefully he is well enough, definitely not a people person.
Went in to get groceries and seen a lovely candle so I tried to buy a candle lighter along with the candle but I wasn’t aloud to buy it because my 12 year old grand daughter was with me standing packing the bags and I am a nearly 60 year old woman standing with my grand child not aloud to buy a candle lighter. And my grand daughter getting asked for id. I am very angry as I’m a regular customer of asda . it was her attitude I don’t make the rules she didn’t even say thank you or please
In all of my recent weekly visits on returning home I have found items charged at more than the price shown on the shelves. All of them overcharging. This week it is Hartley's Jam, displayed at £1, charged at £1.20. Cat food wrong by 40p. Last time it was coffee overcharged by almost £1..for two consecutive weeks. There are also way too many items unpriced, Bottled water amongst others this week. The fact that every incidence results in overcharging is concerning, one would expect random errors to be in both directions.
Nothing wrong with the store but the cars that are parked, ON THE DOUBLE YELLOW LINES is just a disgrace. Should hand out fines and give to charity!!
Love the store, the variety available, the efficiency of staff and the prices, but please do something about those ramps!!!!! My car is suffering as are my joints.
Called into the cafe today for quick coffee on way to a hospital appointment. Was greeted by a lady called gillian, from start to finish she couldn't have been more helpful or nice nothing was too much trouble, the food was great too ! .. on our way out a staff member who was on her tea break came and helped my disabled relative out of his chair ! . I'm really impressed with the level of customer care at this store ! Excellent!!!!!!
I wish to thank the lovely lady who gave an elderly lady with dementia her prescription today . She took time to chat , smile and take a real interest in her . As a result the elderly lady took her medication easily as she had such a positive experience in the pharmacy
Good asda store. Bakery, fruit and veg, clothing and standard groceries available. Parking is free here and there is a toilet available.
Wasn't impressed with customer service. I went to an empty till to find woman on it on her mobile phone. I asked if she was open. I was ignored. She didn't even look at me. So I walked away to self serve. Not great asda.......your customers should come before a staff members mobile phone. Disgusting!
having filled my car from there for years averaging £60 per week will never be back after the attitude from so called lady this morning who stopped me filling gerry can due to as she said council rules . would not have minded but when she said it was there for me to read .not good customer service .manners are nice .
