Crown Inn

Not been to this pub for nearly twenty years, but visted for a roast this weekend and wasn't disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and catered to our pre-madonna of a dog as well as treating us well. Roast was great quality and well priced. Will definitely return.

Quaint pub, went here for a Christmas dinner with colleagues. Had the earm brie starter, salmon for main and a poached pear for dessert. Great service. Great staff.

Great food, amazing staff, and great atmosphere!

The service friendly, the food devine , the outside fresco dining is just lovely . We were an extended family group of 12 with 2 young children and all the food was served on time and piping hot , even the veg was flavoured to perfection . The children were not offered the usual rubbish child menu of chicken nuggets and chips , but could have a smaller roast and other options , my great nephew loves chips so he asked to have sausages with chips and veg , even the chips were devine , he eat the lot . Highly recomend and great value .

Just had the most amazing Sunday dinner. There were 6 of us and every one of us agreed it was the best we'd ever had. Staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating. I'm a vegetarian, so they cooked my yorkshires separately to avoid the animal fat and I was given my own gravy for the same reason. Even the price was amazing at roughly £35 a head including alcoholic drinks and a starter. There was so much food we've taken 2 doggy bags home. We'll definitely go again and would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely location on the edge of Burnham Beeches. Well set out garden. Food was gorgeous and well priced, generous portions too. My one moan is that there was only one cask ale on. Staff couldn't do enough for us.

Lovely place, nice staff and good food. Its in woods so you can have lovely walk and then nice meal!

I visited the Crown Inn today and was really disappointed by the fact that there is a severe wasp infestation in the garden that hasn't been dealt with. We asked to move inside and were told that they were short staffed and we could therefore not be accommodated inside, even though a member of our party also had a severe allergy to wasp stings. We had wasps on our food and in our drinks. This made the whole experience extremely unpleasant for everyone and we could not enjoy our food. Unfortunately my dog was stung while we were there and the staff member who served us mentioned that she had been stung several times while at work. If the problem cannot be dealt with please notify customers ahead of arrival so we can make a decision about whether we want to eat here or not. There were no citronella candles and no offer of insect repellant which I thought should be the bare minimum for this situation. Extremely disappointed with this and the attitude of the supervisor who I spoke to which was basically "deal with it", with no offers to replenish the drinks that had wasps drowning in them nor to accommodate us indoors due to allergies.
