A warning to all landlords : if you are willing to pay an agent to do the bare minimum for you sign up with Crown. I joined Crown with high expectations as I knew the proprietor Martin. Unfortunately after I joined, the person who I signed up with left the company. Other than no rent statements being produced and the occasional chasing of the rent, mostly everything was going well as long as I was using my own contractor, until the tenants left the property. After two and a half months of Crown trying  and failing to find a contractor to carry out the repairs at a reasonable cost I sent out a local tradesman to do the repairs. During this time whenever I rang the office to speak with the lettings manager she was busy or unavailable and never returned my calls. I am still waiting to claim back the cost of the repairs through the dps but again calls are not returned. I asked for my property to be returned to me in the state I gave it to Crown but this seemed too much of an ask. Unfortunately I am tied up in a contract with Crown so am unable to cancel but I urge all landlords to do their research before signing up.  You will have to do all the legwork, shoulder all the stress and pay an agent only to do the checks on prospective tenants. Unfortunately a complete disappointment.

Not happy with the service received. They were told on several occasions to close the doors and turn off all lights as the property was empty but the message never seemed to get through. They also valued the property at a price which was unrealistic.

We recently bought a flat through Crown. The staff and the owner Martin were very helpful and knowledgeable so the purchase went very smoothly. I would highly recommend Crown

Unbelievable booked a viewing at a property on more than one occasion and they are always late, been waiting for 25 minutes now and every time I call the office I’m told 5 minutes this is a joke.

Absoulte fake! Advertising other agent properties for sale, when you contact them and put an offer the answer is that is going to an auction and the starting bid is higher then they advertised it :-o
