There couldn't be a friendlier pub. Simon the landlord is the hub of the community and Madeleine, his wife is an excellent chef. Do please try it if passing and make a special trip there even. Always new events/ideas and do try the fish which is a speciality. Aso, a stones throw away is the Arboretum and pretty little church always open, ask Simon how to get to both of them. You won't be disappointed.
Best meal we ever had out local produce cooked to perfection friendly staff highly recommended and I live just around t corner perfect Dave and pat .
Standard pub lunch good staff and food, though little atmosphere.
Worst meal i have had in a long time
Friendly pub.
