We had friends over from Greece staying with us, they forgot their plug adaptors. 10 minute walk over the railway bridge and problem solved by this fantastic shop.

Crossy's is a Hinchley Wood institution. It is closer to the hardware shop in the Two Ronnies' sketch 'Four Candles' than B&Q but the range of products they hold is surprisingly large. The shop front probably hasn't altered since the 1950s and there is probably the odd dead wasp that's been in there since then, but the prices are still competitive. I bought an axe there and it was significantly cheaper (and the range greater) than the Garden Centre up the road. It's almost pointless writing a review for Crossy's because everybody in Hinchley Wood and Long Ditton knows it, so this is written in the cheerleading sense because without it we'd all be spending more time on the A3 driving to New Malden. We've moved to Surbiton now but it is still our local hardware shop.

This shop has saved my life many times when caught in a diy emergency. They sell a wide range of products you can't get anywhere else for miles around.
