Coop has always been delivering excellent service at a pocket friendly price. The locations are usually local presenting a neighbourhood groceries store. This is no exemption. I was working with a client nearby, so drove here to get some lunch. There was plenty of free parking, the choice of sandwiches was pretty good, there was also self service check outs so was nice and quick to get lunch and pay.
Seem to choose their own opening times despite them being stated on the door. 8:45am on a Thursday and I’m stopped at the door and told they’re closed. Door states 7am opening.nn9:01pm. Closed. Door states 10pm on a Monday evening.nnToo many barriers still in place. Not enough open tills.
Can you please explain how your customers paying at the till are supposed to pack their groceries in a bag with the ridiculous Covid barriers still up and your staff unfortunately just throw a bag at you and don’t assist with the packing when there is simply no space?? This as been brought to the attention of most of your staff and the only easy answer every time is “we have informed management “ so either management does not take complaints seriously, which there are many as I have heard myself from being in the shop by other customers, or the staff obviously does not report these complaints. All it takes is a little screwdriver to remove them. Happy to lend you mine if that’s the actual issue?
Worst shop ever, Rude/lazy staff who are never behind the till. Shops stock is highly inconsistent, paying at till is a pain the COVID barrier is still up and gets in the way, AVOID this
