We have just finished our Sunday dinner take away meal. Absolutely gorgeous with 5 fresh veg, perfectly cooked plus roast and mashed potatoes. Separate pot of delicious gravy. Wonderful finish to our walk on the old race track. Pity I’m only visiting the area in a support bubble with my daughter. Definitely a place to recommend.
Just went there for a cup of tea. It was a decent tea but took a took ages to get served. Also asked for a pot of hot water and a glass of water but had to ask a second time because it didn't come originally. It also needs updating inside. The decor was done in the 80s and it has stayed in the 80s, and I don't mean done in a retro way.
I Have been using Cross Views for 20 Years+ It has always been a place for good food and excellent customer care ,And at this time I can only reiterate that. Thank You & Stay Safe ,hope we can all get back to some sort of normality

Ideal town tea room. Good Covid protection measures. Prompt and polite table service. Reasonable prices.
Helpful friendly staff. Good covid measures in place. Excellent food. Prawn sandwich full of succulent prawns. Cream and jam scone delicious and beautifully served. Would definitely return.
Very friendly staff and Covid cleanliness obvious important to them. Excellent Sunday lunch delivered too.
Unfriendly. I really donot get this place it is so customer unfriendly. Strange vibes from staff and overly expensive for what is offered. Tried 3 times and always the same atmosphere.
