Booked a taxi and asked if they were happy to take a small dog, able to sit on someones knee. I was told that they would but they have limited dog friendly cabs, there was one currently on a job. I said that we were happy to wait. 15 minutes later I got a text to say the taxi had been cancelled, with no explanation. When I called to ask why they said it was because they couldn’t take the dog.
I needed a taxi to get my frail mum to a hospital appointment and back without the stress of having to find a parking space etc. Crossleys were great. The cars came exactly on time; they were nice and clean and the drivers were lovely. We’ll definitely use them again
Do not use, no care for customers. I rang on Christmas eve to book their dog friendly car for Christmas day. I was told I couldn't book a time a day before, only a couple of hours in advance. I found this strange but asked if they would definitely be available on Christmas day at 10 o'clock. They assured me the car would be available. Roll forward to Christmas day I called 3 hours before I needed the car "sorry mate, no dog friendly car tonight" I told him what I'd been assured and he just apologised. He didn't seem bothered. My family got a taxi home and I had an 8 mile walk home with our dog.
Cannot complain at all, booked a taxi on the app then after around 10 mins cancelled it. I was charged an even after over 10 days I had no refund of nearly £25. I contacted these guys and they was helpful right from the getgo. After contacting my bank, an them been useless crossleys refunded me the money for the taxi. They didn't need to do that since it was down to my bank to trace to payment. Thank you crossleys!
I've been getting taxis to and from work for a year now, due to my license being revoked on medical grounds. The taxi drivers are always brilliant; they are polite and professional. The app is super handy too, meaning that I don't need to ring every day, I can just do it on the app. I have recently found out that I can claim back some of the money I have spent on taxis if I have reciepts. I spoke to Rukhsana at head office and she was able to provide me with the proof of payments/ journeys that I needed very quickly and without a fuss. Best taxis in Halifax. Thank you Crossleys :
Always use Crossleys, app is easy to use, allows you to choose between card or cash payment, tracks the driver so you know an ETA, and lets you add a comment ie if your building is on a main road and it’s easier to pick up at the back entrance. Staff are always polite, cars are clean, can’t say I’ve ever had a problem with them - been using them at least 6 years!

Crossley cars went over and above yesterday in picking me up from wainstalls in the wintry conditions to take me to Halifax Town centre and then brought me back home when i had done my shopping later what an amazing company and fantastic drivers nothing is too much trouble for these guys one of the best taxi firms around
Myself and my family have used Crossley's for easily 20+ years and have always had the best service. I couldn't recommend them more!!! Recently, I had a last minute issue and needed a taxi from Manchester airport to Halifax with only about 8 hours notice. Crossley's were absolutely incredible, a car was booked with no issues and at a very reasonable and fixed price especially when you factor in how last minute the booking was. The driver rang me about 10 minutes after the plane landed and was so lovely. He told me not to rush while getting my luggage and to just ring him back as soon as I had my bags so he could direct me to the car park he was in. He arrived literally as we walked out of the airport which was brilliant! The timing couldn't have been better. Also, the driver was an absolute credit to the company. He was so lovely, bubbly and chatty all the way home. It was just a really pleasant ride home. Such an incredible and reliable service!!! Highly recommend both their taxi's and airport pick up/drop off service!!
Excellent experience. Extremely professional, nice and friendly experience. Comfortable travel. And most importantly, cheap fare. Will definitely use again well done Crossleys.
